WHAT TO DO

WHEN YOU ARRIVE at church, YOU are responsible to make sure your food gets put where it belongs (i.e., cooking oven, warming oven, refrigerator.)  A freezer is also provided.  After you have taken care of the food, place your box on the floor in the far end of hallway.

AFTER THE MORNING SERVICE the food will be placed on the tables unless you need to do something additional to it. Again, KEEP IT SIMPLE. The kitchen gets to be a very busy place!
Sit together as a family ACROSS FROM ANOTHER FAMILY!  You will be dismissed to dish up so you can go through together as families.

After the prayer, each family or table should assist mothers with toddlers through the lines first.  Stay together as a family so that little ones have help with their plates.

HELPFUL TIPS

Label your Serving dishes (Pens & tape are available in the kitchen).  The dishes in the kitchen are only for use in unexpected situations. If you need to use them, plan on washing them and putting them away after the meal. Our clean up crew is NOT responsible to wash all the dishes.

Please keep children out of the kitchen.  Hot ovens and hot food are dangers to little ones.  Older children are a welcome help--just ask the supervisor.

PLEASE DON’T “VISIT” IN THE KITCHEN. Arrange to sit and eat with someone you need to talk to with rather than crowding the kitchen area.

USE TIME WISELY! When planning, keep in mind that there are potentially 2 hours for your dish to be in the oven or for your crock pot to be on.  If you need a shorter cooking time, please mark your dish clearly with the instructions or ask the kitchen staff to take care of it for you. Try to avoid having to leave the service.
