Vision, Mission and Purpose
Household of Faith Fellowship of Churches (HOFFC) is an association of like-minded, autonomous, evangelical, family-integrated churches. We are bound together with brotherly affection, our mutual love for the person of Jesus Christ, and our commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission. Everything we do is intended to fit within that context, as we demonstrate our love for Christ by faithfully preaching the uncompromised gospel and “contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” (Jude 1)
Today, many churches have usurped, and many families have abdicated, the God-ordained responsibility of parents to raise their own children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Along with hundreds of other Family-Integrated Churches, HOFFC is reforming this trend by intentionally equipping heads of households to shepherd their own families.
Alarmed at the rate at which the Church in America is losing its children to the world, there is an obvious need to reform the church – to restore the biblical relationships and mandates of both church and home. Emphasizing the householder’s crucial role in discipleship, the church is responsible to create an atmosphere that magnifies the home as an effective center for discipleship. Every Household of Faith congregation works toward these priorities. We recognize God’s mandate for every household to become an effective embassy of the kingdom of God as every family member is equipped to become a dynamic Ambassador for Christ.

So, then, as we consider our Vision, Mission and Purpose…
VISIONThe HOFFC vision is to restore the biblical relationships and mandates of both church and home. Discipling every believer - this is the ultimate mandate of both of these entities and how they relate to one another in their discipling model will make a significant impact upon their ability to retain future generations in the faith.
MISSIONHOFFC has a three-fold mission statement that is designed edify the Body of Christ as we fulfill the vision of HOFFC:
- Strengthen and serve HOFFC Elders and their local congregations.
- Plant and assist new HOFCC Churches.
- Promote the gospel and the Family Integrated Church message around the world.
Above all else, HOFFC exists to serve. Our vision - restoring the biblical relationships and mandates of both Church and Home - speaks directly to our purpose, which is to assist pastors/elders, Christian leaders, church planters and householders in fulfilling their biblical mandates.
As you learn more about Household of Faith, you will find that we have many values and distinctives. It won’t take long to discover, however, that they can all be distilled down to more effectively preaching and living the Gospel in our homes, churches and communities. Only the power of God through the truth of the Gospel can bring heart transformation to our families and churches. And the only hope for the world is a growing church with vibrant families whose members are, one by one, being constantly discipled into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.
